Ludlow Independent Schools
For years our school has created and managed our website on site with our own server. Unfortunately, with increasing budget constraints, we were not able to host teacher web pages because our server was so small and aging. Our Superintendent did his research and presented me with the Schoolpointe web service. Finally a solution to our problem! We chose a design and then were given a lot of input and the freedom to make the template our own.
Our teachers and parents really love our new system. With its ability to allow teachers to keep a calendar, upload links and assignments, post announcements, allow students to submit work and offer safe blogging; the Schoolpointe system is an awesome way to keep up communication between students, parents and teachers. As educators, we know there is a strange vortex between school and home where information and handouts get lost. Our new website allows parents instant access to assignments, due dates and easy contact information for all of our staff. The system is so easy to use, even our technologically challenged teachers are using it with ease.
We especially love the calendar and call out capabilities. When a ballgame is cancelled due to snow, we just send out a message to all who have subscribed and no longer worry about missing someone. Schoolpointe has excellent customer service too. Glitches, questions and "how do I" issues are handled quickly and always with the same person.
We are constantly receiving praise from parents, students and community members about our new site. It looks great and works great. Thanks Schoolpointe.
